This new term, we invite self-published author Bingz Huang to lead the children in a series of workshops called "𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿". 

During the workshops, Bingz gently and safely facilitates children authors into a state of childlike wonder and explore various emotions through the lens of childlike wonder. Some processes include free writing, movement improvisation, exploring fears, expectations, dreams, and doubts, and using our brains' left (logical) and right (creative) hemispheres.

Every week, we gather as a Community of Young Writers to create stories together. Touching on a wide variety of themes from "Unicorns & Dragons", "Cartoon Characters" to "UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals" and "Gender Equality",
young writers are nurtured in a conducive environment of deep listening, supported by a curriculum with structure and a constructive peer group. 

Over time, young writers grow to become authentic and advanced writers who are confident and expressive, with a rich vocabulary bank and a range of writing devices at their beck and call.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭: 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
In this 3 days x 3 hours workshop, your child would:
a) Understand key elements of a children's storybook
b) Be facilitated in story ideation and story development
c) Make a storyboard with text and picture placement in mind
d) Supported in completing basic illustrations for book

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮: 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸
After the 9 hour workshop experience, Stories By Children would post-produce your child's story by:
e) touching up the illustrations manually and digitally
f) professionally layout via a design software
g) prepare book as e-book ready

2. ONE soft copy e-book ready version of book
3. A rich learning experience in the creation of his/her very own storybook that includes ideation, planning, writing and illustration.
